Korean fans of Tobias Leenaert, aka, The Vegan Strategist have reason to celebrate as the Korean edition of his book ‘How to Create a Vegan World’ launches this month. Tobias is particularly known for his departure from traditional animal advocacy methods for a more pragmatic, strategic approach. His message is just as empowering for newcomers to advocacy as it is for experienced activists. He has also inspired a new generation of sustainability and cruelty-free minded entrepreneurs.
The Korean edition is being published by Dooroomee Books, run by vegan musician Jun Bum Sun. Bum Sun is committed to spreading the vegan message through a variety of pragmatic endeavors including his publishing company, music, animal activism organization, and Buddhist temple food restaurant Soseek (currently under renewal).
The book has been launched on the Book Fund platform of Aladdin Books and will be open until March 8th, 2020 with an expected ship date of March 18th. In addition to the book, funders will receive a limited edition glass created by the vegan fashion brand Not Ours.
Tobias was scheduled to visit Korea for a book launch and a CEVA Workshop on Effective Vegan Advocacy with Dr. Melanie Joy but unfortunately, the events had to be rescheduled for Fall 2020 due to uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus. To get updates on his visit, sign up here.
